¿Por qué no nos conquistaron los ingleses?
Almost illiterate in English, I am between the necessity and desire to learn it. And I continue thinking, it was not easier that our conquerors were English and nonSpanish?
Al menos así, aunque nos hubiesen robado el oro y la cultura, quizás nosotros hablaríamos inglés!
No me importa si no me entienden este inglés tan cavernícola...al menos por ahora! Es más, lo acabo de pasar de español a inglés en altavista, y qué!
Esta es una protesta silenciosa y cruda, sólo mia. Y que los que hablan inglés se sientan privilegiados!

Tramitología 3 - Documents for the trip
Tree weeks ago, I began to do diligences for Valeria’s passport. Well, I have not finished, yet. Although she has passport now, I must to swear she is my daughter and I am her mother… for security, because trip is to another country. I must do it this in a registry office, called in Colombia: “notaria".
... yes...again...
Apparently, the diligences are finished this week. We will see what happen!, but we’ll be in
I asked to myself, if I am prepared for more diligences, I don’t think so!

Exam of English
A pair of weeks ago, I presented an examination of English based on the text understanding, I had a headache... and I do not have the result, still. Soon I will present another, but an oral examination. What scare! One requirement to graduate to me is to know English. Oh!
Lo que quise decir fue:
Hace un par de semanas presenté un examen de inglés basado en la comprensión de textos, me dió dolor de cabeza... y eso que todavía no tengo el resultado.
Dentro de poco estaré presentando otro examen pero oral. ¡Qué susto! Un requisito para graduarme es saber inglés.

In first person
Several times I had feeling like an iliterate when I am in contexts where people speak in English, I understand some words, and some times I understand full sentences, and this is good because my fear is big…like Celia Cruz said “my English is not very good looking”. But, ok, I risk about to write and to publish this text in my Blog using a foreign language, that I am beginning to use much … so please forgive me I know that I’m wrong, surely I am mistaken, but I have a good idea: I want to learn.
